Incredible Care

First Choice Healthcare is an amazing agency. The care extended to the nursing team which started with Aaliyah who admitted us and was followed up by Tom was incredible. The constant love and respect shown to my 96 year old father as well as our entire family was fabulous. Our family was blessed on a personal level with our own caregivers which included 2 RNs who felt we were getting top notch care and attention from the First Choice Nursing staff . They responded quickly to any call as his condition deteriorated more than we expected each day. Dad had done well for 95+ years in spite of blindness from macular degeneration and Parkinson’s. The weekend after his 96th birthday, he all of a sudden could not walk and when taken to the hospital by ambulance, he was sent home on hospice. We truly lucked out with this incredible team. He passed away in less than 2 weeks but was totally surrounded by caring and compassionate team of professionals which not only included our fabulous nurses from First Choice but also healthcare aides who were wonderful. The communication skills of this team were evident right up until his final day. Aaliyah had the final visit and as I look back on that day, I am so grateful for her kindness and compassion which constantly was showing through. On behalf of our entire family, I want to thank the entire First Choice Healthcare agency and would highly recommend them to anyone needing top notch hospice care.
